Name: Zeth Kiang
Species: Human (Firebender)
Physical Appearance: Zeth is a tall man, standing to approximately six feet and seven inches and weighing one hundred and fifty pounds. His hair is jet black, reaching to the bottom of his upper back, and his skin is very pale.
Usual Clothing: Fire Nation clothing, but he sometimes go for dark kind of clothing (to keep warm since his skin doesn't absorb the heat) while staying as close as he can with what the fire nation requires. While outside the nation, he wears a uniform that has a military appearance and mostly dark colored with a few shades of red.
Other: Occationally wears sunglasses and a hat. His eyes are a reddish hazel.
Voice Claim: Anthony Head
Personality: Zeth dons a somewhat sadistic and malevolent neutrality, especially with his common facial expression. While his emotions and expression remain their neutral evil, he is not always one to find or seek mercy since he believes that mercy is just a step to weakness and dishonor. During his brief times in the fire nation's military, he developed a sort of high authority, where he believes he has authority over others even though he is no longer in the ranks. Zeth still hopes that he would join again, but with permanent placement, that is if he gets lucky with the fire lord.
His loyalty only goes to the fire nation, and to anyone he trusts enough to be his ally; although to him, he never believes in friendship... but only acquaintanceship. Zeth does not exactly have a lot to trust to give, for he is not very social and dislikes the majority of the people no matter what nation they are in. His trust only goes to the worthy superiors, and he cares not who serves the nation as fire lord as long as they serve the job well.
Aside from his dark and mysterious personality, he mostly keeps to himself and occasionally enjoys a good read or two. He sometimes prefers to sit outside near the ocean to read or to meditate to pass the time and keep his calm attitude, and he prefers to be isolated to avoid being social. When it is needed, he will sometimes be sociable when he decides it is best to be.
Hobbies: Reading, Meditating, sculpting, and exercise.
Family: Jiad Kiang – Father – Deceased.
Mag Kiang – Mother – Deceased.
History: Zeth was born into a middle class family with his father working in the military as a trainer and later on being a soldier, but during that, Zeth never got to spend time with his father and was always alone with his mother. Over time he grew to despise his father, even if sometimes they spend time together for mostly training. He decided to briefly join the military, only to try to get closer to his father, but realized he got bored with it and left to work in a library for awhile due to his interests in books. In time he began to despise both parents as they began to loose interest in him.
His Mother actually started to not pay attention after Zeth pulled out from the military; as her husband has been away with the war and duties to the fire Nation, she began to feel neglected that Jiad rarely comes home to see them time to time and spent a lot of nights out seeking the company of others to ease her loneliness. Most nights she came home heavily intoxicated, ignoring her son and heading to bed. This hit Zeth really hard, and so he had to plan on getting them out of his life.
He suggested that it is time for them to take a vacation in the earth kingdom, as they both had been very busy and needed a break to spend time together as a family. His parents agreed to the idea. Once they have started their vacation, Zeth set his plan into action when he andhis parents were isolated with no witnesses around, he drew his sword as they weren't looking and plunged it into both of them, which killed them. Zeth staged their death to make it look like earth bender rebels killed them as a step to try and free their kingdom and destroyed any evidence that would lead to him and left the scene. He stayed in their vacation house, pretending he never knew what happened until fire nation guards came to give the “depressing news”.
After the funeral, Zeth was sent back to the fire nation so he could be “safe” from the rebels. He lived in the old house for awhile, before he moved to another house to be more comfortable with his life. Zeth tried to join the military again during Zuko's ascension, and had been attempting to rejoin since then.
Strengths: Zeth is exceptionally good at hand-to-hand combat and fire bending due to training with his father before the tragic deaths that happened, at least level enough to be a teacher outside of military standards. His weapon usage had been only bladed weaponry, and his preferred weapon to use is the katana for it is best for it's slick cutting and stainless steal.
Weaknesses: He is not very well with long-ranged weapons, for he is more of close combat sort of warrior, but he is at least good enough at it to get a hit on his opponent (but it would not be the hit he would be aiming for). Not very social, which might drive people away even though it doesn't matter to him. Zeth is slightly haunted by the deaths of his parents, even though he was the culprit of the murders, which sometimes he gets visions or dreams that internally terrifies him. It is also easy for him to hate people, that is if they give a reason for him to despise them of course.
[Other Information: He sometimes like drinking tea and occasionally coffee whenever he feels like it.
RP Sample: It's been boring since he killed his parents, dull, but either way they were just trouble for him. He had no regrets, and no one knew that the son: Zeth, was the real killer. So he got away with it, for he did not want to spend the rest of his life in a jail cell rotting away like some useless pawn.
Zeth gave a sigh as he was putting books and scrolls where they belonged in the library he worked in. Sooner or later he had to quit to join the military, that is if they accept him with the new changes going on. They make it so difficult to be apart of something that served the nation as a whole, especially Zuko.
Sure... Zuko was doing a good job as a fire lord but the changes are so confusing. Maybe he should give some suggestions to the young leader, afterall, don't leaders also take suggestions for their ruling? He could not recall if they did, but hopefully the fire lord isn't as ruthless as Ozai or Azula. Hopefully.
The firebender soon got out of the library once his shift was over and headed home, he had to wait for the letter to come in, and he had to give it a month since they'll be debating on it. An old soldier rejoining the army, but sooner or later they would need him and his experience.
